The following is a non-commercial internet resource site solely for information about 4x4 events - mainly in the UK but also overseas.

Produced by enthusiasts for enthusiasts …

It’s TOTALLY FREE

You DON’T NEED TO REGISTER

It’s VERY EASY TO USE

It provides FAST, INSTANT INFORMATION

Entitled http://www.4x4calendar.co.uk not only can you see what is happening where and when, new events can also be listed within its pages. If you are an event organiser - club, forum group, charity, commercial off-road centre or a major 4x4 show - providing an event is open to the general public and includes four-wheel-drive vehicles, then it can be included.

Just as important, if you know of an event that has been postponed or cancelled, please inform the site as soon as possible and it will be announced virtually instantly. Everyone has been caught out at some time or another when events are called off, this should help enormously in preventing future wasted journeys. The technology has existed for ages, all I’m doing is making use of it. Hope you like it!

Hey up! Tom.

It looks like a good thing you've got there. But can you confirm that if somebody dives into the site they won't be later hit by a load of junk mail-shots once there e-dress is logged?

I don't mean this sarcastically, and I'm sure you'll understand a genuine concern to avoid this pretty annoying possibility.

Absolutely, definitely, 100% NO! It's not for spam/junk mail marketing or anything like it, is a free resource and nothing more.

Well, not strictly true. The spin off for me personally is that it indirectly advertises my 4x4 Markets in England and the Landy Rally Euro Charity Drive as folk look at the homepage of 4x4calendar.co.uk, but hey, for the time I put into the site, I reckon this little bonus is acceptable!

... and by the way, I don't mind you asking in the least!

Fair-play, Tom.

If it keeps the interest in Series Land Rovers going, with minimum hassle, it's sound by me.
